Here’s a list of everything you get with the $995 HIPAAeasy kit. Every kit comes with the HIPAAeasy System Manual, an easy-to-use guide.
- The Notice of Privacy Practices. the Acknowledgement of Receipt and the Green Patient Chart Labels are the parts of the kit you’ll use every day.
- Early on you’ll be sending out the Business Associate Agreement to your business associates, and you will of course need to display the privacy posters in places where the public is likely to see them.
- The other forms are designed for situations when privacy issues arise. Hopefully they won’t arise very frequently, but when they do you’ll be glad that you have these forms on hand to help you respond to and document the situation correctly. Every form includes instructions for use, both for the staff and, where appropriate, the patient. Along with the System Manual they guide you to HIPAA compliance when you encounter less common, but inevitable, circumstances.
- The kit will get you started with everything you need. You can replenish the individual items you use most often as required.
